Rain likely in lower parts of Pakistan with snowfall over hills
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Rainfall is likely in Sindh, Balochistan and southern parts of Punjab with snowfall over hills and adjoining areas whereas cold and dry weather to grip most parts of the Country with clouds over few isolated places during next 24.
A shallow trough of westerly wave is present along western and south western parts of Country, an official of Met office told the state-run news agency.
In last 24 hours, weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the Country, however isolated rain-thunderstorm occurred in Karachi.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was Karachi: (Sadar 13mm, Landhi 11mm, Nazimabad , North Karachi 10mm, Faisal base 09mm, Jinnah Terminal 08mm, Karachi A/P 07mm, Masror Base, Gulastan e Johar 04mm), Lasbella 4mm, Padiden 2mm, Shaheed Banir Azad 1mm and drizzle in Sukkar, Jacobabad.
