By: Muhammad Anjum
Sost Gojal: The youth of Chipursan has initiated a campaign to establish a public library in Rashit village. Chipursan is situated in the extreme north of the country and don’t have direct access to the rest of the world. This library aims to facilitate students, teachers and general public of Chipursan with books, newspapers and other sources of information. For this cause the youth has started to motivate the students belonging from Chipursan studying in the down cities and the resourceful figures. In early 90s a library was built in Rishit named Rashit Public Library, which couldn’t last for long due to lack of resources.
They have decided to renovate the existing structure of Rashit Public Library and rename it to “The First Public Library Chipursan”. Rashit is a central village of Chipursan and is accessible for all other adjacent villages. Teachers and senior students will monitor and operate this library voluntarily.
