Enhanced Grid system being set up in Gilgit-Baltistan
Gilgit, January 24: Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly has been informed that an enhanced Grid system is being set up at a cost of Rs. six billion.

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah‚ replying to a question during question hour on Friday‚ said new Grid system will help better distribution of electricity in the region.
Replying to another question‚ he said about sixty lecturers have been appointed on contract basis and merit policy has strictly been followed.
Minister for planning and development Raja Muhammad Khan asked members for early submission of their proposed schemes so that tenders could be called for execution of development projects.
Later‚ the Speaker prorogued the House.
