GISAK organizes a session on “CPEC” and “Impacts of Social Media”
Karachi: The Gojal Ismaili Students Association Karachi GISAK organised a session on “China Pakistan Economic Corridor”, an emergent bilateral project of Pakistan and China and “Impacts of Social Media on the youth” here at Nizari community auditorium Karachi on Saturday.
Speaking on occasion, Dr Azra Talat Sayeed, Executive Director of Roots for Equity, critical analysed various dimensions of the CPEC. She emphasized to understand the opportunities and to take place as the result of this multi billion dollar projects. Dr. Azra further expressed her views about the geographical significance of Gilgit-Baltistan and the expected curbs the inhabitants of GB might face during or after the completion of the project.
Dr Aman Karim gave a comprehensive presentation of Social Media and its impacts.
He asked the youth to engage themselves in productive activities while using social media. Misuse of social media can harm everyone of the society at different perimeters and distracts an individual from achieving the desired goals.
Moula Madad Qizill, Chairman The Pak Hunza Gilgit Social and Welfare Organization and Karim Ali Bahadur, the former chairman of Gojal Ismaili Students Association also shared their views with the youth.They both applauded the current setup GISAK for keeping youth engaged with continuous constructive activities. Qizill promised his personal and collaborative on behalf of The Pak Hunza Gilgit Social and Welfare Organization with Gojal Ismaili Students Association.
Noshad Karim, chairman of the host organization, Gojal Ismaili Students Association paid vote of thanks to the guest speakers and the participants. He stressed the youth to such event organizaed by Gojal Ismaili Students Association in order to make themselves understand the challenges and opportunities occurring in today’s world and be equipped to tackle those changes.
