Gojal: 20 millions of Sost to Chirpusan road project embezzled
Sost Gojal (Sost Today): Sost to Chipursan road project could not complete in twelve years. The project was approved by Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan, then chief executive of Gilgit Baltistan in the regime of Retd. Gen. Pervaiz Musharif. Ghazanfar gave the project to his preferred contractors. Two million funds were approved for repair and metaled the road. The contractors disappeared without completing the project.
The residents of Chipursan Valley are suffering due to the worst condition of the road.
Speaking to media leader of AWP Saeed Tajik has appealed the CM Gilgit Baltistan to take action against Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan and contractors. The project is still incomplete and Mir obtained commission from the contractors on public project and raised his wealth. He said.
Out of 25 employees only four are working there, Rest of the workers has disappeared.
The corruptions of Mir should be investigated from National Accountability Bureau. He further demanded.
The Chief Minister should take steps for the construction of Sost to Chipursan road; otherwise we reserved the right to protest. He said.
The road from Sost to Chipursan connects dozens of small villages of Chipursan with other part of Tehsil Gojal Hunza.
