Govt. making efforts to rehabilitate Ghizer flood affected people
DG Disaster Management Authority says Chief Minister has approved 9.5 million rupees for the rehabilitation of nineteen families affected by the flood.
Gilgit-Baltistan government is utilizing all available resources for the rehabilitation of flood affected people of district Ghizer.
This was stated by Director General Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority Zafar Waqar Taj while talking to our correspondent in Gilgit today (Tuesday).
He said Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah has approved 9.5 million rupees assistance for the rehabilitation of nineteen families affected by the flood last year at Dalnaty village in Ghizer.
To a question‚ he said findings of the report by Geological Survey about cracks on a mountain at Meyacher village are still awaited and the government will take preventive measures after receiving the report.
