Govt of China grants 4600 tons of food items to IDPs of N. Waziristan

Sost Gojal, September 27: The Federally Administrative Tribal Areas (FATA) Disaster Management Authority receives 4600 tons of food items for distribution among the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan here at the border town Sost Gojal in Hunza-Nagar Gilgit Baltistan on Friday.
A Chinese delegation visit Sost Gojal to hand over the relief goods granted by People Republic of China for the IDPs of North Waziristan. The delegation was welcomed in traditional way. Director Disaster Management Authority (FATA), Assistant commissioner Hunza-Nagar, Assistant collector Pakistan customs and other Govt officials were there.
Director Disaster Management Authority (FATA) thanked the Chinese Govt for their help. He said that I was visiting an IDP camp when I receive a letter from the China Govt willing to help the affected people of Zarb-e-Azb operation. A wave of pleasure rose among the families living in the camps when they were told about Chinese aid.
The Govt of China has helped Pakistan in every difficult situation and never left us alone in any trouble. He added.
A lady leading the Chinese delegation said that the affected people need special care and mortal attention. She further said that the Chinese Govt will always stand with Pakistan in hard times.
AC Hunza Nagar and Assistant collector thanked the delegation on behalf of Govt of Pakistan.
The relief goods have been stored at Sost Port and will be taken to FATA via Rawalpindi after custom clearance.
