MQM leaders should act responsibly to handle the crisis

Karachi, June 3, 2014: Former President of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce-USA and member advisory committee of Pakistan Tehrike Insaf (PTI) Abdul Quayyum Khan Kundi regretted the threats issued by MQM leadership to close Karachi in retaliation of Altaf Hussain arrest in London. He said that a better approach for them is to organize protests in London through their international secretariat and organize legal defense of their leader. He said that the political base of MQM is Karachi and hurting people of this important city is tantamount to hurting Pakistan. He said that PTI believes that all Pakistani citizen have the right to justice whether they are inside the country or outside. He said that Pakistan Embassy in London should provide all necessary support to a Pakistani citizen regardless of his political or social stature.
