Relief Distribution start up again

Aliabad, Hunza(ST): Relief distribution committee and NDMA restarted the process of distribution of relief among the affectees of Attaabad disaster, after a gape of two weeks. The distribution process was stopped by Hunza court, when the people of Gojal filed a petition in Hunza court to stop the distribution of relief donated by China for the affectees of Attabad land slide.

Yesterday the case was withdrawn from the court and the Ismaili Regional Council Hunza resolves the issue. All the parties (NDMA, Distribution committee and People of Gojal including direct affectees) unanimously agreed to distribute the remaining relief good equally to all the people of Gojal.  Forty cent of the relief is already being distributed among 433 direct affectees, the rest of the sixty cent goods will be distributed to indirect affectees.

Further more the NDMA has committed to work out on the student aid fund of Rs. 471000 promised by Govt. of Gilgit Baltistan.
