Samina Baig, Pakistani female mountaineer sustained injuries during K2 Expedition
Islamabad (Web Desk): Renowned Pakistan’s female mountaineer Samina Baig sustained injuries during a quest to climb K2, world second highest at 8,611 metres (28,251 ft on Saturday.
Samina is on mission to conquer the Worlds second highest mountain K2. She got injured while climbing mount K2. She was taken to Islamabad for treatment. The doctor has said her condition is stable now.
Baig got fame, when she conquered the world’s highest mountain Mount Everest in May 2013 and became Pakistan’s first female and the third from Pakistan to achieve the feat. She has also the honor to summit seven highest peaks of seven continents at record age of 23.
She hails from Shimshal village of Gojal Hunza Gilgit Baltistan.
