Chitral: Unknown predator hunts a Kashmir Markhoor Gahirat Conservancy area in Chitral. The wildlife department was informed about the incident, they took immediate action and reach the site, where the collect the Cadaver, but was unable to arrest the hunters. Investigation has been launched to find out the accused hunter.

Divisional wildlife officer, Irshad Ahmed told media, that last night they got information of gunfire in the conservation area. Wildlife guard and the community volunteers cordon off the area.

The hunters took advantage of the darkness and escaped. He said.

The cadaver of three year old Markhoor was brought to department of animal husbandry, where Dr. Sheikh Ahmed postmortem it.

Meanwhile DFO wildlife, Imtaiz told illegal hunting is banned in the area and people involved in the incident will punished through courts. He said.
